Spoiler - TV Guide

Since we didn't get a new episode of Castle this week, can I get some scoop instead? — Jackie

ADAM: Been waiting to see what would happen when Martha Rodgers and Jim Beckett get in a room together? You'll get your chance during November sweeps! Unfortunately, the family affair happens on the same night Castle and Beckett are stranded without their phones while protecting a witness from the mob. "There's some tension because they've had the 'meet the folks' dinner and it hasn't gone particularly well," creator Andrew W. Marlowe tells us. So, what's the problem? "It's about who Martha is versus who Jim is," Marlowe says. "It's a bit of oil and water."

The set-up: When a bearded man in a Santa suit carrying an ID reading “Kris Kringle” falls from the sky in Central Park, Castle, Beckett et al are on the hunt to find the person who killed the jolly gent. But in the course of their snooping, they learn — earmuffs, kids! — that this particular St. Nick may have been more naughty than nice.

And yes, somewhere amidst this less-than-merry murder investigation, Castle and Beckett prepare to spend their first Christmas together. The episode title, “Secret Santa,” meanwhile has us wondering: With one member of their crime-fighting clan already wise to the “Caskett” coupling, will it still be concealed from anyone come December?

Spoiler - Ausiello

Question: I need a Castle scoop! —Valentina

Ausiello: I know that many of you are fretting over the next episode, slated for Oct. 29 and titled “Probable Cause,” where, as the team’s investigates the beautiful victim of a ritualistic murder, Beckett begins to wonder how well she really knows her new lover. Well, I can offer two things: One, the empty platitude: “Keep the faith,” and two, the shiny object that is the guest-casting of All My Children alumna Alexa Havins (aka she of the interminable OLTL crossover baby switch storyline, and the equally turgid Torchwood: Miracle Day) as the deceased’s roommate.

Spoilers - TV Guide e E!

TV Guide:

I'm worried that Castle has nowhere to take Beckett now that her mom's murder has been solved. Make me feel better? — Valerie

ADAM: Stana Katic doesn't think you should be worried. "There's a certain amount of closure, but it doesn't mean that the tale is done," she says. In fact, Katic is finding it much more fun to play the "new" Beckett. "She's more lethal because she's thinking more clearly. She's not running on emotion anymore," she says. "She's become more dangerous to the bad guys." Sounds like Castle better stay in line!

E!

Rsol90: Please can we get some scoop on Castle? Thank you.

A scene in the Christmas episode, titled "Secret Santa," will have a very romantic setup for Castle and Beckett. 'Tis the season for shipper heaven!

Spoiler - TV Line

Now that the episode has aired, what was the scene cut out of Castle 501 ? — @vikimousse

Ah, yes. The scene I saw them film during my set visit had Espo storming out of Beckett’s apartment when Ryan showed up to help with the Cole Maddox case, and Kate then reeling him back in. It’s a shame it got cut since it took many takes to get Esposito’s angry door-slam just right, but in hindsight the sequence probably made the character look too petty.

Spoiler - TV Line

Castle | Despite Rick and Kate putting on their best poker faces, their secret relationship will slowly be exposed during the first third of the season — and, ironically, not necessarily by either of their two detective pals. Tamala Jones teases a “fun” upcoming scene in which Esposito and Ryan “are trying to figure out why Beckett’s glowing, and who’s the new boyfriend.” As Lanie absorbs all the assorted intel, then pairs it with an odd observation of her own, “She kind of figures it out,” the actress shares. (And yes, Lanie herself is still enjoying “a little booty call action with Esposito,” Jones confirms.)

Spoiler - TV Guide

Loved the Castle premiere, but what was Castle doing with a half-naked woman in the promos for the next episode?

ADAM: As creator Andrew W. Marlowe already teased, that encounter is a consequence of Castle pretending to be single in order to keep his relationship with Beckett a secret from their co-workers. But that doesn't mean infidelity won't be an issue. An upcoming case will implicate Castle in the murder of an ex. "It makes everybody question: How well do we actually know this guy?" Marlowe says. But it gets worse: "Castle may have been having an affair with her at the same time he was dating Beckett," he teases. "That goes to the heart of all of Beckett's insecurities."

Question: Wow! I loved the Castle premiere! What a strong start to the season! Anything new you can share? —Cheryl

Ausiello: The top-secret “Caskett” coupling will start to come to light when a member of the team rings Beckett… and, well, she’s not the person who answers.

Spoiler - Zap2it

"Castle": Nerd alert! In an upcoming episode, Castle and Beckett will be investigating a murder that takes place at SuperNovaCon, a science fiction convention not unlike Comic-Con. The victim and her best friend were working on creating the "Nebula-9 Fan Experience" for the con when tragedy struck.

Spoiler - E!

Dianna: Castle scoop! Not involving Castle and Beckett…I want happy scoop!

So you know how Castle is doing a Firefly-esque tribute in an upcoming episode? Sounds like they are currently casting for…well, Nathan Fillion! Gabriel Winters is described as an actor who quickly rose to fame playing Captain Max Richards on a hit sci-fi series. Of course, unlike Fillion, this leading man spiraled out of control after his show went off the air with booze and one-night stands. Castle's Firefly-themed episode, titled "The Final Frontier," is the seventh episode of the new season.

Spoiler - Mega Buzz

What's the good word on Castle? — Wendy

ADAM: You've heard the show is planning a Comic-Con-inspired episode, right? Well, the show is also taking inspiration from star Nathan Fillion's Firefly past. The episode features a past-his-prime sci-fi actor who, despite once playing the beloved "Capt. Max Richards," is now a promiscuous alcoholic who comes under suspicion when a fan is murdered at a convention. Whoever lands the role has big tightpants to fill. (Note to self: Add Galaxy Quest to my Watchlist.)

Spoiler - zap2it

Confira trechos do spoiler que o zap2it preparou da conversa que teve com a Tamala Jones:

"I mean, I'm straight as a board -- there's not a lesbian bone in my body -- but I had to tell her, 'Honey, those legs and that butt -- I had to hit that butt real quick and tell her, 'I don't know what you're doing, but it's working, mama!'"

"I think we're really going to find out how sexy Castle really is this season," Jones says. "We've seen him with other women and kinda playing the field, but [now] we're really going to see that romantic sexy manly man.

"You're going to be able to smell his cologne through the screen, that's how sexy he is!" Jones enthuses. "It's way more playful than last season, and lighter, and just to see those two and their interaction is spectacular."

Forget Castle and Beckett, this Esposito/Ryan fan would love to know where their relationship stands when the show returns for its fifth season? — Brandon

The TV Addict: Like that of any actor’s career after signing onto a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie, Esposito and Ryan’s relationship is on shaky ground. Make that very shaky ground. But just how unhappy is Esposito with Ryan following last May’s season finale? Well, let’s just say that the only words exchanged between the talented twosome involve the names “Benedict” and “Arnold!”

Spoiler - The Voice Of TV

Confira o Spoiler que o The Voice Of TV preparou. Conta uma coisa que ainda ninguem tinha contado. Que Kate Beckett provavelmente vai levar cafe da manha na cama para o Castle:

‘After the Storm’ keeps a steady pace and never loses the viewer’s interest. On the contrary, there were two separate instances where a scene ended and I thought it was the end of the episode. It could have wrapped up at either of those two points and I would have been completely satisfied, happy to wait another week for the next installment. Imagine my surprise, at one point, when I checked the timer and we still had 12 minutes to go. That’s some good television.

Entrevista Tamala Jones - Wetpaint

Confira a entrevista que Tamala deu para o Wetpaint. Ela fala sobre Lanie e Esposito e de Castle.

Do you think that's going to be enough for Lanie? Maybe seeing Beckett in a happy relationship will make her realize she wants that too …

I hope so. The way that Lanie has been written, she's just a tough girl. She's very much about her job and very secretive about her love life. And when the secret got out and everybody knew about her love life, she just backed up.

But I think that she will want that, and I think it will have to happen — and this is just my opinion — when she sees Esposito with someone else. It's just human nature. Seeing him with someone else, you're like, "Wait a minute! That's mine!"

"Castle": Reowr! It's just two weeks until the Season 5 premiere, when you'll see Beckett transformed into a fierce lady tiger -- even outside the bedroom with Castle. She really brings out her claws for the mastermind behind her mother's death -- and the show's new baddie. What she does is so shocking that its repercussions will be felt for the rest of the season.

Veja o spoiler que a EW publicou:

Will Beckett and Castle stay together for good?

While I won’t say “for good” (because there’s just no way of me looking that far into the future), I will echo what creator and executive producer Andrew Marlowe told me: “I think it would be unfair to the audience to have them invest all this time and all this time together only to pull the rug out. I think that was one of the fundamental mistakes they made in Moonlighting. They got them together and then they split them up.”

Spoiler - TV Addict

Will those of us who have been anxiously waiting four seasons for Castle and Beckett to succumb to their mutual attraction be happy with the the show’s fifth season opener? — Jennifer

The TV Addict: CASTLE fans will be pleased to discover that happydoesn’t begin to describe our feeling while watching the fifth season opener (Grinning ear to ear just might!). Playing to the show’s strengths, creator Andrew Marlowe and his writing staff do a magnificent job of juggling the aftermath of Castle and Beckett’s steamy night of passion with the weighty and emotional subject matter surrounding the truth Beckett’s mom’s demise. Suffice it to say, when fans aren’t busy giggling over Castle and Beckett’s attempt to keep their rendezvous a secret (Seriously, the cold open is priceless), they’ll be on the edge of their seat as the crime-fighting duo race to beat Cole Maddox from… well, something we’re not about to spoil here. Oh, and while we’re on the subject of gushing about CASTLE, in this current television landscape littered with awesome-butt-kicking-take-no-prisoners heroines, Stana Katic’s Kate Beckett doesn’t get the credit she deserves. Or at least that’s what fans will be tweeting following her climactic confrontation with one of the show’s special guest stars.
