Castle chose to silently snub the brunette beauty in the wake of hearing her confession (still unbeknownst to her), but it’s hard to say whether the detective darling will have the same bitter reaction to Castle’s own revelation. (Which is, of course, the fact that he’s been investigating her mother’s murder behind her back all season — something equally, if not more, upsetting, we’d say!)

We get that Castle’s heart (and ego) are broken, but what the adorkable crime writer’s been doing to Beckett behind her back may be even more detrimental to their relationship.
