Castle talvez mude o dia para Quinta-Feira
Castle fans might be the only people in the world who look forward to Mondays. The excitement of a new episode always makes our work days fly by. But according to Variety, all that could change come September...
The powers that be at ABC are currently finalizing the fall primetime schedule, which they will unveil at next week's upfronts, and Variety suggests the network consider moving Castle to a new date and time — Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
"This has been a troubling hour for ABC, so why not try this lightish crime drama with a loyal following in one of the few weeknight hours without a crime/mystery show?" Variety advocates.
Well, for one, because 8 p.m. is way too early for a procedural that's chock-full of violence (and potentially sex, now that Castle and Beckett are officially an item). Call us old-fashioned, but we hardly think that dead bodies, gang fights, and steamy love scenes make for appropriate after-dinner TV time with the kids.
Should Castle move to Thursdays, Variety suggests airing a new series such as Nashville after Dancing With the Stars. Sorry, but we can't imagine Tom Bergeron signing off with, "Stay tuned for an all-new Nashville!" It just doesn't sound right.
What do you think, Castle fans. Is Thursday night a good idea? Bad idea?
