Castle usually ends on a cliffhanger — last year’s was certainly killer, pun kind of intended — so it’s no surprise this year will be no different. Except that, well, Marlowe has said that unlike last year, nobody’s going to be near-death when the screen goes black. (Whew for that!)
So, what kind of crazy cliffhanger could Marlowe have concocted if it doesn’t involve guns or bombs or a freezer-death-chamber? What we’ve gathered is that it clearly has something to do with Castle and Beckett’s relationship. And, perhaps more precisely, their buzzed-about potential hookup.
In fact, Marlowe recently told TVGuide.com, “The way we're ending this season, people will want to know what happens in the immediate aftermath.”
Could this mean the episode ends right before (or after) Caskett enjoys their first, real kiss (complete with Beckett's dripping-wet hair?)
